Despite an impressive bid package, the AJHL showcase will not be coming to Fort McMurray this year. But that doesn’t mean it won’t make an appearance in 2013.

The Tories location change of the beleaguered seniors’ long-term care facility brought former Wood Buffalo mayor Doug Faulkner out of retirement to run in the next provincial election. Faulkner announced his candidacy Wednesday for the Wildrose Party to run in the new Fort McMurray-Conklin riding.
